  • Bird watchers can visit Bhimtal & Sattal for more than 200 species of birds. Panghot, Corbett and Mukteshwar can also be included for a full-fledged bird watching itinerary.


  • Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal at a height of about 3000+ ft so the weather here is moderate as compared to Nainital, especially in Winter. Nainital is more crowded, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal are quiet, offer spread out resorts and offer relaxing / rejuvenating experience for any getaway seeker.


  • The peak seasons are round May to mid-July and October in Nainital


  • Tallital (Lake's Foot) is at the southeastern end of the lake where you’ll find the bus stand and the main road heading east towards Bhowali. The 1.5km shopping venue known as the Mall leads to Mallital (Lake’s Head) at the northwestern end of the lake.
