What To See
Gunhill
This is the highest and most beautiful peak of Mussoorie. Ice- clad peaks of Badrinath, Kedarnath and Nandadevi are all visible from this hilltop. Gunhill can be reached through a ropeway.
Municipal Garden
Situated around 4 Kms away from the city, this garden has a small artificial lake that is the centre of tourist attraction. You can enjoy boating in this lake. The Municipal Garden is best reached by walking as the road is plain and lined with trees. The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (the I.A.S Training institute) can be visited on the way to the Garden from the main Bazaar.
How To Reach
Mussoorie is situated at a distance of around 260 Kms from Delhi. It is easily accessible through bus and trains.
Camel's Back
This 3-km long road is one of the posh residential areas of Mussoorie. On a clear day, one can see the northern part of Mussoorie and some breathtaking views of snow covered peaks. The peak, which is shaped like a camel's back, is very near to this place.
Childer's Lodge
Just 5 kms away from the city, Chider's Lodge has the facility of binoculars for viewing the northern hills.
Kempty Falls
These falls are situated 15 Kms away from the city and a have a beautiful environment. During the rainy season, a stream of water flows from between a valley of hills. These falls are famous as tourists like to take a bath under them.
Dhanaulti
Dhanaulti is located around 25-Kms away from Mussoorie and is the ideal place for holidays. The Long rows of Deodar and Coniferous trees are a major attraction.
When visiting Mussoorie, make sure that you stay for more than three days atleast. Apart from visiting the Mall in the evenings, enjoy the soothing environment and the fresh, clean air of Mussoorie.
