Planning a road trip. There are some essentials you have to consider carrying with you. We would recommend you to get your car serviced and checkd-up before a trip.
Travel Planner/Pre-plan a Road trip
Car Check
- Have the car serviced.
- Check wheel alignment, clutch, brakes, windshield and the lights and signals are in proper condition.
- Check for the tyre air pressure, dont forget the spare tyre.
- Handover the spare car key to a co-traveller. Preferably it can be safe in a handbag which we carry along.
- Keep your road assistance numbers handy and find out if they have a service in the area you are going to.
- Check the oil, coolant & brake fluid of the car.
- Check the car's air filter.
- In a pouch dont forget to carry your Pollutions certificate, Original Car RC, Insurance papers, Addresses of the Service centers of the car in the place you are going to.

- Thermometer, Nail cutter, Scissors, A sealed surgical blade, Ear buds, Hand sanitiser
- Some mint toffees

- Band-aid, Any Antiseptic Oinment (Soframycin), Dettol/Savlon.
- Medication for Diarrhea (Norflox TZ), Vomitting (Domstal), Headache (Disprin/Paracetamol), Stomach ache (Carmicide), Antacid (Digene/Eno/Pudin hara), Pain Relief Spray (Voilini/Moov), Oxymetazoline Nasal Spray (to clear blocked nose - reqd if you get a nose block especially in hilly areas)
Medical kit
Personal Documents
- Photocopy of passport (Or any ID proof, Driving licence, Mediclaim or Medical Insurance papers (original), Road Maps, Hotel Addresses and Tel No., Doctors's Prescription and contact details in case of any medical emergency.
Other Utilities
Wet tissues, Newspapers, Torch, Car inverter, Puncture kit(tuless tyres), Insulation tapes, Car inflator (air pump), Knife, GPS, Towing rope, Mseal, Quickfix(adhesive), Electrical wires, Screw diver set, Spanner set.
Spectacles, Camera, Camcorder, Clothes/Footwear according to the climate of the place you are visiting, Sunscreen, Moisturizer, Lip balm, Shampoo & Conditioner etc
Water, Chocolates, Biscuits, Namkeens etc
