What to see
Ujjain
Situated on the banks of the sacred river Shipra, Ujjain which is the modern name of Ujjaini abounds in temples and traditions. The most prominent of all of them is Mahakaleshwar which houses one of the 12 jyotirlings in India.
Omkareshwar
Situated on the confluence of Narmada and Kaveri river, Omkareshwar is set in picturesque sorroundings. One of the twelve jyotirlings in India enshrined here in the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata
Mandu
Mandu is a celebration in stone of life and joy. A tribute to the love shared between the poet prince Baz Bahadur and his beautiful consort rani Roopmati. The balladeers of Malwa still sing their euphoric romance.
Maheshwar
Situated on the banks of the River Narmada, Maheshwar is significant for its many temples, bathing ghats and the exclusively woven Maheshwari sarees.
