- The Monastic trek - (March - May, October - December) Permayangtse - Sangacholing - Khacheopalri - Dubdi - Sinon - Tashiding - Ralang.
- The Rhododendron Trek - (March - May) Naya Baazar - Hilley / Soreng - Varsey - Dentam - Permayangtse.
- The Khangchendzonga trek - (Mid March to Mid june) (Oct - Dec) Yuksam - Bakhim - Tshokha - Dzongri - Thangshing / Bikbari - Zemathang / Chaurigang - Goecha - la, Rathlong glacier and back.
- The Coronation trek (October - December) Rumtek - Sang - Yangang - Rabong - la - Tashiding - Yuksam.
The treks are organised by the Sikkim Tourism.
Equipment can be hired at reasonable rates from Sikkim tourism counters or look for recognised tour operators. Since the most rewarding trekks are in altitudes from 6000 ft to 14000 ft or higher, kindly ensure that you are physically capable. Sikkim is also extremely ecology conscious. Either bury your water deep, or repack and carry it back for suitable disposal. Trekkers huts are are loacated at Pemayangtse, Khecopalri, Yuksam, Tsokha, Dzongri, Thangshing, Zemathang, Chaurigang, Tashiding, Varsey, Yangang, Rabongla, Sang and Sikip.
