The beach facing sleepy lagoons and tiny creeks extend for miles and are dotted with coconut grooves and sand dunes which xreate a relaxed setting ideal for lazing around and enjoying the local seafood or to board a yacht and head out to sea. A popular spot is Davleshwar - just 15 kms away and famous for its golden beaches and sand bleached Shiva temple.
The sea is not the only attraction in this idyllic setting. Just 67 kms away is the Taptapani meaning hot spring which is exactly what it is. A dip in its warm waters soothes the nerves and has a therapeutic effect.
